Here is some helpful information prior to joining the waitlist.
What kind of patients do you treat?
I treat people with hypermobility, dancers, and dancers with hypermobility!
What’s the difference between Physical Therapy and Movement Training?
Physical Therapy addresses specific injuries and pain. I pride myself on taking a holistic approach to identifying and understanding the root cause of an injury. Through manual therapy techniques and targeted exercises, treatment focuses both on managing symptoms and addressing the underlying source.
Movement Training is a wellness service that helps decrease risk for injuries and optimize movement in both daily life and performance training. Using general strength and conditioning principles, flexibility and mobility training, balance, and Pilates-based movements, I help clients achieve their goals.
Where are sessions held?
I see clients/patients in three different ways:
virtual - hosted on PtEverywhere’s HIPAA-compliant portal
“The Collective Space” in Culver City - 3431 Wesley St, Ste D, Culver City, CA 90232
your home/studio - available within certain areas of Los Angeles
How much do sessions cost?
base: 60min/$250 and 45min/$187.50
additional: $0 additional for virtual session, $40 additional for sessions at The Collective Space, $50-100 additional for sessions at your home/studio
Do you accept insurance?
Electric Edge Physical Therapy does not accept insurance as it allows for one-on-one treatment and for decisions to be made solely based on patient presentation. Patients will provide payment directly to Electric Edge and following each session, patients will be provided with a superbill to attempt reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits. Often times, the session cost can be applied toward a patient’s deductible. To understand what out-of-network benefits you have, take a look at these insurance questions and contact your specific insurance provider to inquire.
Electric Edge Movement Training is unable to provide superbills as services are not licensed or skilled care. Clients will provide payment directly to Electric Edge.
